We are Minty Media, an all-round web agency in Haarlem. No project is too crazy for us!
Minty Media is an ambitious all-round web agency specialized in developing customized websites and webshops on the open-source platform WordPress. Clients can come to us for design, building, optimization, management and maintenance. We also build API connections that provide a lot of convenience for our customers' businesses. Think of a Bol.com link, various checkout links, tracking systems and many other links. We also help clients increase their online visibility through advice in online marketing and advertising.
Through our own hosting platform, under the name Minty Hosting, we provide our customers with safe and fast hosting. For domain names, shared hosting packages or your own server, Minty Hosting is the place to be.
A personal connection and good cooperation with our customers is most important to us. This is reflected in many regular customers who have been satisfied with our services for years. Good service and personal contact is our top priority!
Work
As an intern front-end developer, you will be working daily to create innovative websites, web shops and help build links and internal projects. Together with our team you will create a wow-effect upon delivery. Our projects are often designed in HTML, CSS and Javascript. Some knowledge of different frameworks such as Next.js and React is desirable. With the entire team we ensure a perfect delivery of all online requirements and wishes of the customer. As a front-end developer, you think proactively with the implementation of the projects.
- You will be involved in developing front-end web projects;
- You will work with our team to develop websites and web shops in the open source platform WordPress;
- You will be involved in setting up Server-Side Rendering to optimize our web applications;
- You are engaged in implementing dynamic routing;
- You deal with building reusable layouts and components to speed up development and ensure consistency;
- You push new developments to GitHub;
- You are involved in the continued development of both links and plug-ins.
Who is looking for Minty Media
We are looking for a front-end development intern who likes to think out of the box, is creative and loves visuals, code and websites.
- You are studying for an MBO or HBO degree in Front-end development;
- You have some experience with different frameworks such as React and Next.js;
- You have some experience with Javascript and TypeScript;
- You are creative, social and have great communication skills;
- You have a sense of typography, proportions, color and image;
- You have experience with Adobe Creative Cloud;
- You have some experience with various CSS frameworks;
- You are a team player, but can also work well independently on projects;
- You can express yourself fluently in Dutch, verbally and in writing.
